BEB leadership took a trip to Africa and visited Congo Brazzaville, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Nigeria. During the trip, there were many great conversations with government leadership, the official signing of MOUs, visits to children’s homes, and meetings with the BEB Africa team in each country.
Read a few testimonies of people the BEB team encountered on their trip who are actively using Children First Software (CFS) and how it is making a tremendous impact in the work they are doing:
Karen, Director of SHAMIDA Children’s Home in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, states that “CFS is able to provide a history of records for each child that they will be able to use later on in life, whether they are adopted or not.” at SHAMIDA “each child has a digital profile that will always be stored for reference.” In the past “we have found files under kids’ beds, we’ve found files tucked between dressers, but because of CFS, we do not have to worry about any child’s files missing.”
Dr. Gabriel Oyediji, National President of ASOHON in Nigeria, states that “BEB’s work in developing Children First Software is both inspiring and critical to ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children across the globe. BEB’s work is a shining example of how innovation and technology can be used to address pressing social issues and make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable populations. By leveraging cutting-edge software, you have helped to ensure that children in orphanages are safe, protected, and given the opportunity to thrive and find a better placement that meets their most important developmental needs.”
Time and time again, we are seeing how CFS provides efficiency, convenience, and transformation to many lives. We are so grateful for the people and countries who have partnered with us to get more institutionalized children reunified or adopted.
