Frequently Asked Questions

How does BEB decide where to implement Children First Software?

BEB responds to invitations from foreign governments, which typically occur through introductions by individuals, current country partners, and alliances. The leadership team and Board assess growth opportunities based on organizational capacity and growth strategy.

How does my country sign up to use CFS?

The BEB team would be happy to show you a demonstration of CFS and discuss the next steps for implementing the software. Please contact us at

    How much does CFS cost?

Provision, implementation, training, and support of CFS are offered to government and alliance partners at no cost, thanks to the generous support of our funders.

Does BEB have access to the data of children in my country?

No. Only country administrators can access the data of children in their country.

    Does BEB facilitate adoptions?

No. BEB is not a child placement agency. Our role is to consult governments and institutions on best practices for using Children First Software to manage children’s cases and move them to permanent family care.

Is there an opportunity for me to invest in BEB?

BEB must continue to grow its fundraising to continue our growth into new countries. If you are interested in investing in BEB, please contact Margaret Elizabeth McKissack at
