Bob Hefner is Founder and President of The Pilchers Group LLC, a commercial real estate development, management and leasing firm based in Dallas, Texas.  Pilchers primary interests pertain the management and leasing of owned properties located in markets in the Southwest. Prior to his role in the Pilchers Group Mr. Hefner founded a commercial insurance firm headquartered in Dallas.  After a series of acquisitions that expanded the operations of Hefner & Company Mr. Hefner elected to sell the firm in order to devote himself to his growing real estate involvements.

Mr. Hefner is also an active participant in the Oil & Gas industry and related enterprises in Texas and North Dakota.

Mr. Hefner is a founder of Proclaim Cuba! A ministry devoted to supporting Christian ministries and humanitarian relief on the island of Cuba.  He is also past President of the Insurance Counselors or of Texas and past Chairman of Deacons at Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas.  For more than 30 years, Mr. Hefner and his wife Laura have traveled to over a dozen countries seeking to raise the standards of orphan care in third world settings.
