Linda Penlope
Africa Country Representative
Linda’s role at BEB is Country Representative of Uganda where she works on data entry, training children’s homes’ staff and Regional Probation and Social Welfare Officers. She helps bridge the gap between BEB and the government of Uganda. She was born in Mbarara, Uganda; but currently resides in Kungu, Kampala, Uganda. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a certification in Child Protection. She previously worked for the Ministry of Gender, Labor, and Social Development.
Linda is inspired by her work as a counselor who handled Violence Against Children (VAC) cases and Gender Based Violence (GBV) cases. This exposed and enabled her to working with vulnerable people to build hope, improve their well-being, and achieve their full potential.
