This month, the BEB Honduras team traveled with the director of DINAF, Attorney Dulce Villanueva, to the Dominican Republic to meet with the BEB team there. They worked in collaboration together as they met with the National Council for Children and Adolescents (CONANI) to discuss how CFS can be implemented across the Dominican Republic. Attorney Dulce was able to share her insight into how she has been able to see firsthand the positive impact that CFS has made in the country of Honduras.
With the collaboration between the two governments, Honduras and the Dominican Republic, our hope is that the Dominican Republic will continue to implement CFS in every institution in their country. CFS ensures that every institutionalized child is one step closer to a permanent home.
