Global Impact

Moving vulnerable children to a better future.

In many countries, conditions in institutions and orphanages are quite poor. Children are crowded and confined to cots. They lack adequate nutrition and stimulation, as well as the means to establish healthy attachments to loving caretakers. The only sustainable source of these elements, which are so critical for child development, comes from family-based care.

For this reason, BEB believes that children should not be placed in institutions unnecessarily, and that all efforts should be made to enable children to return to the care of their parents or close family members. When that cannot happen, we believe a loving environment can be found through adoption. Here, we’ve outlined some of the engagements that have helped us realize our vision to see every child in a loving family.

$132,000 supports the implementation of CFS in Honduras, helping more than 8,000 children gain the digital identities that lead to finding families.
