In Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, KT Orphanage provides care for children under the age of eight who have been separated from their families. Each child arrives with a unique story and the hope of a brighter future.
For years, KT Orphanage has worked to care for vulnerable children and connect them with loving families. In September 2024, they implemented Children First Software (CFS), giving staff better tools to track each child’s journey, coordinate care, and make informed decisions on their behalf.
The impact has been remarkable.
Since implementing CFS, 230 children have been placed into loving Ethiopian families. Behind every placement is a child who now has the opportunity to grow up with stability and belonging.
These placements are more than numbers; they represent lives changed and futures transformed. By helping child welfare professionals better understand and advocate for each child, CFS is making it possible to connect children to families more quickly, thoughtfully, and effectively.
