Sierra Leone, a country located in West Africa, has started the implementation process of using Children First Software (CFS). The population of Sierra Leone is roughly 8.4 million people, and out of that population, many children are living without family care.

The Ministry of Gender and Children Affairs (MGCA) saw there was a need for a case-management system to keep track of the institutionalized children in their country, they were then soon connected to BEB.

Upon our connection with Sierra Leone, the BEB Africa team was able to conduct meetings with MGCA and Sierra Leone Without Orphans to start the registration of 26 children’s homes. We are excited to build this new partnership with Sierra Leone for the advancement of more children moving from institutions to permanent families.
