In Cambodia, BEB joined government leaders and NGO partners at a national conference hosted by the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans, and Youth Rehabilitation. The gathering served as both a moment of reflection on progress made in 2025 and an opportunity to collectively shape the future of child protection across the country.
During the conference, Chantrea, BEB’s Country Manager, shared how Children First Software is strengthening Cambodia’s national child protection system. By enabling teams to identify every child, track every case, and respond earlier with informed decisions, the platform is helping bring greater visibility to the work of protecting vulnerable children.
This visibility is critical. When children are seen within the system they are no longer at risk of being overlooked. Instead, they are connected to services, supported through each step of their journey, and given a clearer path toward safe, stable family care.
As Cambodia continues to invest in stronger systems and partnerships, moments like this conference highlight what is possible when leaders come together with a shared commitment: ensuring that every child is known, protected, and given the opportunity to grow up in a loving family.
